window wash automatic in my Burb
today my suburban starts to wash my frontwindow 3 times while driving through an tunnel. Is there some sensor I don't no yet or is this some malfunction?

The sensor is behind the rearview mirror, in the black box attached to the windshield.
It's a light sensor that measures the reflectivity of the windshield, so the sudden transition to a dark tunnel probably confused it and it triggered the wipers.
