Wipers

Wipers
Got another screwing from GM along with the cracked dash and AFM oil consumption issue.
I needed to change the wiper blades on my 07 Suburban, it uses a pinch type attachment to attach the blade to the arm. It is getting harder to find that type blade, the J hook is the most common type now.
Low and behold there was a technical service bulletin to replace the pinch arms on 07 and 08 years with 09 and later J hook arms. Who ever got notified about the bulletin, not me.

Some customers may comment that the windshield wipers streak the windshield and do not clean properly at low vehicle speeds.

I installed michelin hybrid wiper blades on my 2007 Suburban that fit the original wiper arms. They looks like beam but are just a conventional blade with a cover over it. I removed the cover because it was tapping on the windshield when it flipped. I'll be installing the new wiper arms in the near future!
Looks like the new part numbers are 22917501 and 22917502.
