My remote for my 2007 tahoe stopped working. It won't let me reprogram it. When I go to the relearn remote option and press and hold the button, nothing happens. No chime, no "remote learning active" display. The screen flashes off then back on but that's all. I've programmed remotes before with no problems. Any suggestions?

 

Are you using the method which begins by holding the driver door's lock button down while cycling the key on-off-on-off? There's a different sequence for vehicles with the DIC button.
