i have a problem with my Tahoe it wont start with the KEY but it will start with the remote, sometimes it wont start with the remote i keep trying until a light in the dash board with an engine design and that the only time i can start the truck with the key and i really want to know what can i do to fix that problem

 

Can you get a OBD-II scanner and check for any check lights to see if there is a problem to start with. The other question I would ask is what year and make are you referring to? I have heard of this problem before but with more information would help. Anything and everything you can list.

 

its a 2007 tahoe LT 5.3 engine 2wd

 

I would be suspicious of the Ignition switch, If its the original key.
