Default XM Radio Renewal

It's almost time to renew my XM radio contract. I got the first year of service as a "win back" program for $77.00 and was wondering if anyone else with the same program has came up for renewal yet?If so, what kind of price have you received from XM?

Just let it expire and XM will send you a letter with the "win back? program. It could take up to a month.

If you call and threaten to cancel they start offering all kiknds of options. I got 3 months free. Once the 3 months are up, I will call again and see what I can get.

I'm trying to go month by month so when the GMLAN Sirius Adapter comes out I can scrap XM altogether. I have both installed right now. Go Stern . . . .

Here, Here Pablo. XM programming sucks compared to Sirius, and no Stern! Any word on when the Sirius adapter will be out? Right now I use my Stiletto but loose the signal to the tuner. Can't wait to hard wire it!!

My Fiance has a Jeep Cherokee SRT8 with the Sirius and his is way better than my XM! I'd rather have sirius than XM

So if you want the best of both worlds, it looks like we will have to pay about $20.00 a month?

Look at the last part of what they have to say.

Once we merge, you will have better pricing choices. Subscribers who want their current subscription package will not have to pay any more after the merger. There will be new subscription packages priced below our current offerings. And the best of both SIRIUS and XM will be available at a lower cost than the price of subscribing to both services separately.
