Unhappy y91/y92 Nav HU compaitble with non y91/y92 tahoes?

I know this has probably been asked before (sorry!) but I searched til I was blue in the face and i'm so frustrated I probably couldn't see it if I found it.

I got ahead of myself and bought a NAV unit for my 06 tahoe LS, but my LS does not have the y91/y92 Bose package. the HU is only y91/y92 compatible... is there anything ANYTHING I can do to get it to work? I got it in and Nav works and speaks loudly through the speakers, but no audio from DVD/CD/TUNER. save me, please!

Welcome to the Tahoe forum. Someone here should be able to lend a hand.

thanks. I'm hoping someone knows what's needed in the swap. I'm drowning in all the information from other posts--and most of it seems to be about swapping nav into Hoes that already have y91/y92. yikes. anyway. hopefully we can get it figured out, so I didn't spend 420$ (so far) for nothing.

If you can get ahold of Machomachodan from dieselplace.com, he can re-program it from lux to non-lux.
