I know a while back, someone, or possibly yourself mentioned a 2-Way remote that GM was coming out with. I seem to remember reading that it could be fully integrated with the sytem we have now. Is this available yet? Can you provide me with some info on this, part numbers, availability, etc. Is it out yet? I seem to remember something about alate 06 release?

Yeah, that was me with the original post on this.
This is the email I got from GM in late December. I just sent a follow up this evening checking on the status. I'll let you know what I find out.
We are very excited about the 2-Way Advanced Remote Start and would love to equip your fleet with this new product when it becomes available for retail sale (through your local GM dealer). It is scheduled for release late in the first quarter of '07 for GM's 2007 full-size trucks (including Yukon XL). Please understand that this is estimated timing; the release date is subject to change.
While we certainly appreciate your enthusiasm and desire to help us out with beta testing, GM does not test pre-production products in the public domain. We have a comprehensive engineering process designed to "work out all the bugs," so to speak, before our customers ever use one of our products.

I like the new hook up for the ipod. You mean I will finally be able to play, control and view my ipod right through the head unit. What will they come up with next? Was this video made in 2002 and I am finally seeing it?
