Just saw this post and quite frankly didn't think anyone really gave a damn about me.
I have been in Asia for the past week but am back now getting over my jet lag and getting reacquainted with solid food.

We'll let it slide this time. In the future all vacation requests need to be in my in basket two weeks prior to departure. Just Kidding Dave!! We missed you, we all had to guess at the fixes to our undocumented features.

Welcome home!!! You really were missed!!!

Chinese food just isn't the same outside of the US. Hope you avoided the Sea Urchin. [:'(]

In China I would have paid good money for some Sea Urchin, it would have beat the hell out of some of the scary chicken parts they tried to poison me with.
Now Japan is a whole other story, great food but only 3 short nights, was a business trip though or China would not have made the cut.
I am partial to Japan though, I was born and raised there.

That explains why you like the Urchin. Personally, the only Japanese food I like is the Hibachi stuff from a good Japanese Steak House.

A 3 day business trip to Asia?? That's an aweful lot of airfare for such a short trip.

Welcome back again!!!

3 nights in Osaka, 5 nights in Shanghai and 1 in Taipei.
I don't like Sea Urchin but compared to real Chinese food I'll take it any day of the week.

Here is a picture I took in the Osaka airport last year. Almost $5 for a couple of tomato slices.

Here is one of my favorite pictures from a bar in Hiroshima. Give a whole new meaning to "hangin' out with your **** out" [8D]
