ZX, Stock Programming with Superchips Please Help!
Dave or anyone else that knows!
I purhcased my tahoe with 17's, i had factory 20's installed by the dealer. They programmed the tahoe for the 20's.
My question is this. If I get the superchips and program my vehicle, it saves the stock setting. ONce I remove the superchips and program the tahoe back to stock, is the stock setting the original programming with the 17's, or is it now the settings after the 20's were put on? I am asking if it is possible for me to UNDO the programming the dealership did when they put the 20's on, or if that is ireversible? Thanks, Landon.

The simple answer is no it will not reverse the calibration settings that the dealer installed.
It will set it back to the setting with the 20" wheels/tires if you go back to stock.
Once the dealer reprograms the BCM or any other module (there are up to 24 on 07 Tahoe's) with a new VCI or updated calibration for things such as the wheel/tires or anything else that new updated program now becomes the "original program" so to speak.
Even if the dealer had to re-flash a brand new module the dealer would pull the software from GM SI using the VIN and it would include the 20" tire/wheel update and any other update as well.

Landon,
You say that the dealer reprogrammed your truck for you. How much did they charge? I called my dealer today and was quoted $225.
Thanks,
Kevin
