i have an 03 tahoe i bought a few years ago, and when i got it i could only get AC out of the rear. after monkeying with the actuator a bit i could see that if i unpluged it and moved it manually as soon as it was plugged back in it would go back to AC no matter where the control was set, because we live up north i set it to heat and left it unplugged and everything else seemed to be working fine until some months ago the blower quit working. i put power to the motor and it works fine the resister has battery power going in and power to the motor (purple wire) but for some reason it is not getting the signal to turn on the blower. i have searched all over the net and it seems like the actuator thing is really common but i cant seem to find anything about the blower problem aside from the motor or resister being bad, and mine seem to be fine. if anybody has some input it would be greatly appreciated we have a little guy and another coming in a month so heat is a must for the winter and sadly the GM dealership in this town is only concerned with selling new vehicals and really has no ambition to help, so if somebody can even give me some suggestions on what to check next. thanks
