I have an 01 Suburban. The interior dome lights don't work when the doors open nor when the dome override switch is pushed. Also when you roll the dimmer switch all the way up the lights do no come either. Please help.

 

Fuses are not blown, that I know of. What are my next steps?

 

Welcome to the forum. Check the 15A CTSY LP fuse in the underhood junction block. There should be battery voltage. After that, try replacing the INADV PWR relay and CTSY LP relay in the I/P fuse block. Either one can knock out the courtesy lighting.

 

What's the relay # and if s under the hood

On my 99, I have to roll the dimmer switch up and down real quick for a while before the lights come on. Over time the switch became erratic and doesn't always work. Check the switch.

 

On the 2001 Suburban, the INADV PWR relay and CTSY LP relay are located in the center I/P fuse block (underneath the instrument panel, to the left of the steering column).
