Thanks for the leg work. The instructions worked perfectly. I shopped locally for some parts and ordered the resister on line usingyour link. My install went flawlessly.

You're welcome..... looks great on your truck. So this makes at least 3 or4 confirmed installs of the U.S.Esky lights. Good job.


Anyone up for the challenge of doing the Euro's? - I'd love to see that done. (yes I knowthe leftreverse lense is red - probably more of a physical challenge in that a lens "transplant" would be needed)

So everything works great?

 

10-4 Using this method, all lights operate as designed with no codes or lamp out indicators etc.

 

I got one lamp wired and tested last night. It worked. Will do the other tonight hopefully. Awaiting the corner pieces before I install the lamps (maybe). Also ordered the Esky third brake light and spoiler(?).

I just did this conversion with no issues whatsoever! Also sjenkinzz did you finish the Caddy 3rd brake light conversion?If you could post the GM part numbers that would be excellent! Pic below with license plate bulbs also converted to LED and before I puton the Escaladeappliques.

 

Anyone know if the tail lights in the avalanche are the same one as the tahoe? and will this conversion work for a 2007 avalanche as well?

There is a seller on Ebay insisiting that the lights are the same. (He was selling Denalis)

The top edge of the Avy is rounded in is definitely NOT the same shape. That being said, I'm not sure that they would not still "fit" and function.
