Default 2007 Yukon XL Denali question

Hey guy I am looking for some insight. I am looking at a 2007 Yukon, really nice shape, all the bells and whistles. Has the 6.2 which I am fairly unfamiliar with. Only thing scaring me right now is it has 113,000 miles. How reliable are these engines. What are most guys seeing before any major problems. They cut me a deal on it for $17,999. Thoughts? Thanks.

they didn't make a 6.2L in 2007.

If its a 6.0L; that engine is fantastic, much better than the 5.3L. Some of the 99-06 gens had worn camshafts but i have not seen one in a 07- 14 gen.

Are you sure they didn't make a 6.2?

Incorrect. The 6.2L was available in the Denalis starting in 2007, the first year of the GMT900.

Exhibit A

The 6.2 is a great motor. I'd have no concerns whatsoever buying one with 113k miles on it.
