9006 foglights ???

Question 9006 foglights ???

hello,can anyone tell me, if i can convert my foglight bulbs to standard headlight bulbs ??? i have a suburban,the bulbs are 880/883 for the foglights....i am wanting to go to a 9006 set up for when i put on the hid kit,my question is that,does anyone know if they will fit ??? allcomments are welcomed ... shonoff83@yahoo.com

wouldn't the 9006 bulb be to much for the fog light reflector to handle.

I agree, Fogs are usually about 35W or so, and others can range from 55W and up. That'd be a LOT of extra heat for the size of that housing.

Default 9006 fogs

thank you guys so much for the reply,i did not consider the plastic reflection of the casing... and yes that may be too much heat...thank you again...
