97 Tahoe Brake Lights
The brake lights (left, right, and 3rd) on my 97 Tahoe (2WD) have stopped working. Marker, turn signal, back-up and hazard lights all work. Cruise control also works.
I replaced the brake light switch, checked all bulbs and fuses (although the only fuse I could locate was in the drivers side fuse panel).
I've read some threads indicating the "multi-function" switch may need replacement. How do I test / know before I head down this path.
Any ideas on the cost of the multi-switch and shop labor to replace?
I've got 200K+ miles on this vehicle and don't want to spend a bunch of money or time - is there any way to by-pass the multi switch in the brake light circuit?
