I got a nice Tahoe from a friend with a blown transmission. Put a new one in and all seemed well until the wipers started doing crazy stuff like stopping in the center and going from intermi to full and stopping then going again. Washer fluid stopped spraying at the same time and I always keep it full. I read in a forum long ago before I got the problem that the pulse control module was a recall and many have had this issue. I am not sure what to do as the part on ebay for 12-20$ costs 299$ to ship ( I live Hawaii) The local parts stores do not carry it and I been told that cleaning the red grease out solves it but there is no grease in mine. Also re soldering the points underside was another fix but yet to do so.
Any suggestions from owners or mechanics?

Second major issue is my entire oxygen sensor harness came loose somehow and got wrapped on my front driveshaft shearing it all out now I have no clue as to what wire is what. Harness replacement or is it fixable by soldering same gauge wire to new connectors. I do still have the sensor wires seperated by bank one and two upstream and down but I have had no luck at finding out what color wire is what.
