Default AC/Heater control buttons no response

I have 2002 Tahoe LT and the ac/heater has just started blowing hot air at the highest level. I can turn the control hot/cold ***** no response and the light for the ac will not come "on" when touched. The blower motor seems to work but on one speed only "HIGH" I have taken the HVAC fuse out with no effect on the blowing of hot air. Has anyone had an issue similiar to mine I have checked all over the internet but cannot find anyone with the same symptons of this tahoe.
Thank in advance for advise or help,
Terry

If it only blows hot air and the fuses are good, the next step is to check the blend door actuator and the blend door. They are plastic and do go bad a lot of the time.

I have ordered a blower resistor/module and will try your suggestion if this does not work. Thanks for your suggestion
