Default cig.lighter fuse keeps blowing whatelse on this circuit

2000 impala keeps blowing cig. lighter fuse.what all is on this circuit besides cig lighter.i lose my taillights when this use blows

Does it blow right away when you put in a new fuse or does it blow when you turn on the lights. We need a bit more information.

Sorry seems to be when my headlights are on.And sometimes not all times as soon as i put new fuse in it will blow right away.I mean it blows as I'm putting new fuse in but not all the time.And thats with nothening on not even keys in ingintion.hope that helps you to help me .Thank you for all help

Since you say that you loose your taillights when the fuse blows, I would look at the wiring and the sockets the bulbs plug into. From what you say it sounds like an intermittent problem and the sockets are the easiest to check and the most likely to be a problem.
