2007 Chevy Tahoe LT. I have replaced the bulbs, fuses, brake switch 3 times (2nd time worked for 3 months), checked the wiring at the switch and at the tow package connection. The cruise control still works but didn't until I switched the brake switch. The 3rd brake light still works.

 

Ok, read on another thread to do a reset/disconnect battery. I'll wait an hour or so.

 

Disconnecting the battery did not help it.
