Hi, my suburban 1999 6,5 td won't go as it shall. I can rice it to 1500 rpm, and if I give it more power it came only white smoke, no power, this happen when the engine are cold. Warm engine some times I can pull the pedal to the bottom and nothing happen directly, after 10-20 secons some times it work as the engine shall with lot of black smoke. But allmost I can drive up to 1500 rpm with out power. It's works at flat road, but in the hill I can walk beside the car. I have replaced: pmd, fuel pump, injection pump,tank and diesel filter. What next? I hope someone can tell me what is the problem. Hope you see between your finger about my english, I'm a Norwegian, thank you.
To day I have measure the vacuum to the car. From vacuumpump to the Wastegate selenoid it was 26hg and to the Wastegate I got 17hg, and I measure over some time and there are now leaks. When I put power to the wastegate selenoid I can hear a click. When I start the engine it's alright into 1500 rpm, and it's idling fine if I pull the gaspedal further it only came white smoke. Sometimes it rice to 3000 rpm, then I have normal power with warm engine. Just seldom. For more info see the thread at the top. I hope you out there can give something to work with. Thank you.
