I have a 2007 suburban with the 4L70E transmission that was just barely rebuilt. Now I'm thinking I might want to get rid of the suburban because of some other maintenance issues. But I want keep my new transmission as backup parts for the new vehicle.

Are the 4L60E transmissions interchangeable with the 4L70E?

The new vehicle would have the 60E but I'd like to have a spare transmission if it would fit.
