I was using this web site to check the age of my Jaguar XF today (the 10th character in the Vin #) and I was able to confirm the year built was 2016.

I then thought that I would confirm the age of my 2017 Infiniti Q50S - its VIN # is JNIBFAV37A0440004

One of my friends also used vinpit.com to check the history of an old car. VinPit will be the best and most free option if someone needs a detailed history.

I often check cars by vin decoder, because if you buy a used car at an auction you can get serious problems later in operation.
