Default 1998 chevy tracker lift

Is there a way to lift a 1998 chevy tracker with coils from another truck form a junkyard? I was told to use ford ranger springs but I'm new to the tracker and use to working on jeeps if there is a good cheap way to lift the tracker 2 to 3 inches that would be great.

I actually found a way to get 2 and a half inches out lift out of it for under 100 bucks i used 2001 4 door chevy tracker springs and rear shocks from a 1991 ford crown vic looks much better now and still rides nice.

Heres is a pic of the tracker and what i did to lift it it cost 40 bucks for all 4 coils and 40 for the new shocks. I didnt use any special tools a standard tool kit and crow bar will work to do this and a few hours of your time. The rear is the easy part jack it up high enough that the axle springs down all the way and still not hit the ground pull ur wheels and then the rear shock i found it easy to do one side at a time the crown vic shocks will need a metal.sleeve u can cut it out of ur stock shocks begin with taking the shock off ur rear will swing down and the coil will fall right out replace stock coil with the 4 door coil then the crown vic shock do same thing for the other side. The front its a bit more difficult u will need an alignment and there are no adjustments so u will need to put a smaller bolt in the top of the strut that bolts to the knuckle disconnect the strut and use a jack to push the a arm down till u get the spring out then use your crow bar to persuade the new spring to fit the put it back together use the stock bolt on the bottom strut hole and a smaller one on top to push your wheel in.
