1999 Tracker 2.0 L, P0303 code, none of the usual suspects are fixing it
Tracker is stalling out in 2nd/3rd gear but running fine at idle. Showing a P0303 code, cylinder 3 misfire. Checked the ignition coils with a spark test, they were fine. Got new spark plugs, fuel injectors, and timing belt, but no luck. Dry compression test was also normal.
Anybody have any ideas?

Not exactly. And sorry, it is not running fine at idle. It runs rough; sorry for the typo, too tired I guess.
It's not just lag when I hit the accelerator. It struggles for a second then stalls completely, pretty consistently. I don't have any of the codes referenced in the system check section either; just the P0303.
What book is that from? I think that's the sort of resource I need
Thank you.

That seems closer to my issue. Does the manual say anything about a P0303 code specifically? That's the only code I'm getting
Looking at this though, I've gone through the ignition system and fuel system checks.. and compression. Must be something else from the engine mechanics list. Thank you!
