Tracker1989-2004
This compact SUV proved itself to be a fine ecnomical vehicle, good for making its way along any type of surface. Platform: CAMI (Suzuki)
A 2000 Tracker, 250,000 miles (second engine), starts and runs fine. When the AC is turned on, the dash warning lights start coming on and flashing. Air bag, OD on, etc. Has anyone seen this? Is it an issue with the AC control module or something in the AC itself. Any help would be appreciated.
With over 100 views and no suggestions I'm assuming no one has seen this problem before.
If it were my car I would print out the picture below and circle every warning light that is
illuminating when it shouldn't. Then I would try to determine what the malfunctioning lights
have in common. Also, are the lights flashing at a constant rate akin to the turn signals or
do they flicker like a loose ground?
