Situation-Can't pass smog because there is a problem with the VSS which is located in the SPEEDO which is located in the CLUSTER. Speedo and Odometer do not run

What I found out- I took out the cluster and noticed where the Speedometer wire connects to the Speedo it is rounded out/stripped (not the wire) instead of being square. So when the wire (in good condition) turns it doesn't catch.

My only viable solutions so far- Pray that I find a 96-98 used one at a pick n pull/craigslist/ebay. Aftermarket Speedos do not work

What I'm Unsure about- Geo/Suzuki speedo/clusters might fit?

What kind of answers I'm looking for- A answer to the question above^ and any other comments or suggestions you might have to help me get the problem fixed. Any info would be appreciated
