Default Buying a 99 tracker

I am thinking of buying a 1999 Tracker with 150,000 km on it. Can anyone let me know of any problems these trucks have. Any major repairs I can expect? It is a 4WD automatic, 4 cyl.
Thanks for your response

Default RE: Buying a 99 tracker

Read the previous several posts and also spend some time in other forums for the tracker (do a google search on Chevrolet Tracker). Many people have them and love them - it all depends on exactly what you are looking for in a vehicle. I just spent four years studying them and comparing them to other vehicles to meet both my highway, in-town, in city and off road needs and the 2 dr is perfect. I just bought one two months ago, albiet a 2003 2dr 4x4. I love it and so does my wife. A previous post here mentions the need for a complete de-carbonization, which seems to have been a cause of a lot of unnecessary repairs for him. From other forums, I believe Seafoam, which can be purchased over the counter and put in the gas tank, might have been the simple solution and prevented all the other trial and error repairs.
