Default Driver side door power lock issues.

Hey all I was hoping someone might have an idea of what's up with my driver side door lock. The door has to be manually locked, it doesn't move when I press the power 'lock' or 'unlock' button inside the car. I got a key fob today hoping it'd fix the problem, but no luck. I can hear the mechanism firing inside the driver side door when I use 'lock' on the keyfob, as well as 'unlock', but the peg doesn't move up or down.

Any ideas?

It's a 2003 Chevy Tracker LT.

Since you can hear the mechanism fire, probably what happened is the linkage inside the door became disconnected. there are plastic clips in there that connect the linkage and after time they will break. you will have to remove the door panel to get to it.
