Default Dual valve shocks for 2002 tracker lt

Has anyone fitted race-level dual valve shocks (such as Fox) on these inexpensive 4x4's? What is the best shock available for a stock 2002 Chevy Tracker LT 4x4. Looking for smooth ride with off-road capabilities.
