Default First car (Tracker) and need some advice on random body touch-ups

Hello,

I just bought a 2002 Tracker ZR-2 with 100,000 km on it for $4000 CAD. It was my dream car and I drove a long way to pick it up. Risky move considering I had very little knowledge about cars in general, and didn't have much time to inspect it. In the end it worked out well I think. It passed inspection and is in pretty good shape considering its age. Today I noticed there is quite a bit of rust around the engine but I don't know if it matters (it did pass inspection after all).

The velcro on the back flaps of the soft top has worn out. I was wondering if anybody has any experience fixing that. I know a new soft top is pretty inexpensive, but this top is actually in pretty good shape with the exception of the velcro. Should I try bringing to a cobbler to see if they could replace? Also, the spare tire cover in the back seems to have shrunk with the cold and the stitching has come undone. Again, I know these are dirt cheap to replace with a generic cover, but if its possible to repair I would love to keep the Tracker-branded one (or replace with a similar one but no luck on eBay so far).

The rubber that goes between the fenders and the body are coming out and I guess I should just glue them back. What kind of glue should I use to do that?

One last thing. There are some tiny rust spots starting on the B pillars on both sides. You can't see the rust just yet, but on both sides of the pillar the paint is bubbling. Should I bring it to a body place to fix? Should I do it myself?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you are able to offer!

I took my spare tire cover to a local upholstery shop (but my zipper was still intact). I would think they could sew new Velcro strips to the soft top as well.
