I am looking at trackers & found a 2nd gen ZR-2. Looks in great shape. What do I need to look for when I look at this (or any) tracker?

 

You should look for a reputable mechanic with the experience, tools and willingness to work on your gen 2 Tracker. Pay him to give the car a once over before you buy it. Make him your friend. The 2nd gen Trackers are one of the last cars a DIYer can fix at home, but you will need access to a professional when you run into trouble you can't figure out on your own. The Tracker is a rebranded Suzuki Vitara (or Grand Vitara). The last Gen 2 Tracker rolled off the assembly line in Ontario Canada on January 17, 2004 when Suzuki pulled out of the North American car market. Parts can be difficult to source. Your local Chevy dealer probably won't be much help. That said, I love my Tracker. It's been my daily driver for 20 years and I hope to be driving it for years to come.
