I’m having a problem with the 4WD not engaging. I replaced the bad actuator pump but still not working. The pump runs for a few seconds then will stop. To me anyway, it tells me that there is no air leak or it would continue to run. The 4WD light does not come on but it does shift into 4WD with no problem.
Has anyone had this problem before and does it sound like the transfer case switch or something electrical? Thanks in advance.

 

Need more info. What year and engine is it? Does it have an “auto” selector on the ****. Is it a floor shifted unit.
