Tracker1989-2004
This compact SUV proved itself to be a fine ecnomical vehicle, good for making its way along any type of surface. Platform: CAMI (Suzuki)
Starting last year Ive had some issues with my 2002 zr2 v6 4wd tracker. Started simple with spark plugs, then the mass airflow sensor. Being I had to save up for the mass air flow sensor I had to let it sit long enough that the alternator died after I replaced it. Which led to it sitting dead in my yard for almost a year. Just got that replaced, then the battery. Since then I've had issues with rpm jumps and drops while idling, stalling out after revving up on start, and the speed dropping while on the highway but the rpm remaining the same. I've replaced the fuel filter and air filter along with cleaning the maf sensor and while it definitely has gained some power from each step the main problem remains. When scanned it shows with the maf. Posting here is my last at home hail mary before I bring it in to get looked at.

After reading your post I connected a generic scanner to my 2001 LT V6 4WD Tracker.
At idle (750 RPM) my MAF reading was 3.35 grams/second.
At 2,000 RPM the MAF reading was 7.80 grams/second. My Tracker starts and runs without
any issues so I'm assuming these are normal MAF readings. I offer them to you for comparison.
