I have a 2000 tracker, 85000 miles, there is a small ol leak
at the back left of the engine, it drips overnight, have a pan under the car.
I am not concerned about it, it would be fun to fix, so from what is said, the engine and trans have to be broken down,
it would be nice if you could drop the engine oil pan remove
a crank shaft real seal cap.
Anyway, i may try mobil-1 for older engines, may help any seals.
Thinking about getting the helm overall manual, they want 175.00 for it...

My 2000 tracker has 85,000 miles. 2.0 L engine. I had a rear main seal leak that seems to have stopped. The tracker came from florida, maybe poor oil used. Anyway after 2 years on mobil-1 gold top 1qt 5w-20, 4qts 5w-30 it has stopped, maybe some sludge was cleaned out. I always use an ac filter.
