I have a 1999 Chevy tracker and was wondering would the 1.6 16 valve for a 97-98 work in it if the heads are interchangeable I have a recently new head on mine but the rode snapped on cylinder 1 and put a hole in the block and info would be appreciated

 

Your Tracker is a rebadged Suzuki Grand Vitara. Suzuki filed for bankruptcy in 2012 and ended all operations in North America. However, Suzuki is still popular outside the USA and you are more likely to get a response by posting your question on their forum: https://www.suzuki-forums.com/forums...nd-vitara.211/ They do a lot of engine swaps over there.
