Default Tracker 101: intro to the A/C compressor control module

The AC control module is located up inside the dash.

You can see it if you drop the glove box out of the way.

It's a small black plastic box with the big (C2) connector on the back and the smaller (C1) connecter on the side.

Note AC module pin C2-8. Under full-throttle acceleration the PCM sends a cut-out signal to the AC control module which turns off the AC compressor. This frees up engine horsepower for passing. This composite drawing is downloadable at: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jcx13y6p8e...osite.jpg?dl=0

These are the C1 pinouts

These are the C2 pinouts.
