Hello Everyone,

I could use some help identifying this part on my 98 tracker that is broken and I need to replace but I don't know what it is to find a replacement. I've circled the part in yellow on both images I attached. Also, would that hose that's just hanging freely have gone to the broken piece?

If anyone has any info that could help me out, I'd really appreciate it and thanks in advance!




Sorry that this one is out of focus. Also, I pushed that hanging hose down in this pic to show that it does easily reach to that part.

 

Got it off and found the part number on it. 17089068. It's a purge valve for the vapor canister it seems and that hose would definitely attach to it.
