Default 02 chevy trailblazer electrical problems

Help me please, 02 chevy trailblazer is giving my problems. We put a brand new batter in it and it still goes dead. I have had it looked at, the altanater is good. They told me that I have a short in the wiring behind the dash or the radio. We have tried to find it but all the wires look good. We have turned off the interior lights and pull of the fuses for the dash and radio and it still goes dead. I love my trailblazer but I'm to the point I want to get rid of it. So please if anybody has had this problem please help me before I go crazy. Thank you.

Have you added any extras like a remote start? I would think a short would blow a fuse.

i think the garage you took it to was guessing what it was since it didnt get fixed and you pulled all the fuses even the breakers iv seen stuff like water in the electric tow plug cause this rear defrosters wrong light bulbs installed what doesnt work in the car most of the time thats where you can find the problem

ok my best answer is to get a multimeter on the battery and test for a draw. once on there start pulling fuses and putting back until you find the one giving the major draw once you have that figured out you can co to most parts stores and get what they call a haynes manual in the back they have all the electrical diagrams for the car and just start tracing down all the wiring and components on that circuit time consuming but the best way to figure it out. hope this helps
