My 04 Trailblazer has the key stuck in the ignition. The key will not turn all the way to the lock position so that the key can be removed. The engine always turns on and the battery and ignition were both recently replaced in an effort to correct the situation which had been occuring for several months.

Any other suggestions?

My mechanic mentioned replacement of a shift interlock attenuator?
