Post 05 common problems

Hello Everyone I'm new here and want to start off by saying hi! now i don't mean to come out with all these negative things but as in all things there is always good right....? tell me what yall think

Fuel Gauge Stopped working avg mileage : 55,678
Speedo gone haywire avg mileage : 63,089
General Gauge cluster Malfunction avg mileage : 58,875
Doors randomly locking by themselvs avg mileage : 67,333
tranny failure avg mileage 53,925

These are just a few of the Major "most common" problems that happen to 05 trailblazers that i have found through my research. now i know there isn't a single car without a single flaw. i am here because you guessed it I'm looking into buying one of these. I absolutely love the look, drive and power of these things. But with that being said how common are these types of problems? My wife and I have a baby due in about a month and NEED something about the same size as this and Definitely 4x4 gas mileage inst a issue.

My questions

1. how often do these problems really happen?
2. would you recommend to your close friends?
3. easy maintenance for the DIY?
4. Family Friendly?
5. Expensive to repair?
6. How dependable to the comparable Midsize SUV
Thanks for your time everyone,
Mitch
