I have a 2006 trailblazer that currently has no heat or ac. When I turn the temperature **** I get a series of alarms that will go off on the dash indicating ABS and brake. Only happens when you turn that particular ****. Side note, in recent weeks when I turn the car off and open the drivers door the radio will stay on and the windshield washer dispersement has not worked since I've owned it in the last few years. I've gone to a local mechanic who wants $83 an hour to look at it and another $125 to hook up the computer, and then the Auto zone guy says that you can't hear the doors on the blower or temp controls so he suggested replacing the control module ($173). I was curious if anyone else has had this issue and what they did to solve it .

Try disconnecting the battery for about half an hour. This will reset the
onboard computer. Then scan for a code thru your OBD.
