Default 130000 miles

I have an 07 trailblazer with 130000 miles. Would it be safe to drive it from Florida to Colorado and back in the winter months? It has 4 wheel drive and seems to be in good condition. Just went through 5000 mile service at the dealer. They say it is a very sound car, but i would like to here from owners about driving a car with over 130000 miles on it through the mountains.

Before you go on a long trip, just make sure you correct any problems it has. If you break down in the city, it's one thing; if you break down across the country, that's a different ball game.
If you can't inspect it yourself for mechanical issues, have a mechanic look at it.
Also check all your fluids and your tire pressure before you leave. You don't want any leaks or a losing air pressure as you drive.
If all that is done, you would be fine to drive across the country. Your vehicle will have no problem in the mountains or colorado.
Remember that as you drive north into colder weather and higher altitude, you will lose air pressure in your tires. they are not leaking, but it is due to the relationship of air temperature and tire pressure.
So, whenever you stop for gas, just check your fluids again and your tire pressure.
hope this helps!

I would drive my 05 sub with 200k AND my 93 sub with 360k on that trip w/o hesitation. I know how they are maintained and AAA is there to help in an emergency!!

My brothers car had the automato transmission die on the interstate at 70mph because of a manufacturer defect. You never know what can happen.
But of you're worried, bring enough cash so that if your car breaks down you can at least afford a rental
