Default 2004 Trailblazer won't start after instrument cluster removed

Hi, need help, just removed instrument cluster from 2004 Trailblazer and now won't start, just get a loud clicking that sounds like a relay switch. Checked fuse box and all fuses are good. Blazer started and ran fine before I removed instrument cluster. Any help appreciated.
Thanks. Frank

Since it started after the cluster replacement, it is obvious that something happened at that time. Not only check all your connections, also check all other connections and wires near the cluster as one of them may have been disconnected or damaged by accident.
