TrailBlazer2002-2009
2023-
The TrailBlazer, originally introduced as an upscale Blazer, was produced from 2002 to 2008 with a powerful I6 engine and with a monster V8 offered in the Trailblazer SS
Platform: GMT 305, 360, & 370.
Please can someone tell me what this is? It was broken off the back somewhere near the engine valley pan. I know it sits near the oil pressure sensor. It's NOT the camshaft position sensor, I have a LH6 engine so I know the camshaft position sensor is in the front. Whatever this is it causing misfires on 1,4,6 and 7.
What you have pictured is an AFM Connector for the Active Fuel Management (AFM) that is incorporated into the 5.3 L engine.
Not sure if it can be replaced by itself, or if it needs to be part of the Valve Lifter Oil Manifold (VLOM) which controls the deactivation of the various cylinders when the AFM system is engaged. Here is a link to a VLOM replacement - https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-130...origin=keyword assembly
The VLOM assembly is also called a Cylinder Deactivation Solenoid
