Liftgate opens even when vehicle is locked. Sets the alarm off but I don’t want it to be able to open anyway if it’s supposed to be locked. Any idea what’s wrong or how to fix it? Or what I am doing wrong?

 

I wish I could help you but I have a similar issue with my 2015 Chevy Malibu. The trunk lid opens up on its own, after I start it, and drive a short distance. It's really not an issue for me, as the car has lots of power and great MPG so I am likely to keep it until I die.
