I have a 2006 Trailblazer and both brake lights need to be replaced but, I can't get at the housing for the lights because the handle for the lift gate is broken. We've watched videos on how to unlock it from the inside but it just won't release. The glass opens but the lift gate itself won't. Is there any other way to get at the bulbs aside from cutting holes in the side panels?
