I have had to put two new a/c clutch relays in this 08 in the past couple weeks.When I pull the relay out the two terminals for the relay coil have 12 volts.So I know it is the relay bad,but im just wandering if the aftermarket relay has a high enough amp rating.Or could the coil in the clutch be going bad and overamping the relay contacts? If any sugestions I would appreciate it.

 

hard to say without measuring the amp draw.
see if there is a identical factory relay in another location in the fuse box and try that one.
