Engine light evap code 044

Changed the evap purge control. Still have error. Is there a vacuum line that usually leaks? This might be a trial and error situation. Any help is appreciated.

what model year and engine. post the entire code p0044? p1044?

2005 6 cylinder 4.2 liter. I believe the code was 0044..I can check tomorrow.

The engine code said there was a small evap leak. Maybe there is a cracked line.

P0440 MAYBE P0044 ISN'T A CODE
if you have a p0440...make sure the cannister vent valve can close. a good scan tool can cycle it open and closed. when cycled you should hear it click.
