Default Factory remote starter kit available?

Recently purchased a 2008 Trailblazer LS with almost all options and would like to know if a factory remote starter kit is availble from the dealer. Part number and information would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark in Buffalo

I dont know if the NEWER Trailblazers offer that. (07-09).
Being an 'older' platform.. considering that it came out back in 2002- I dont remember seeing that as an option on my 03...
But heck- they may just offer it as an option now...
BUT--- I have read that some Trailblazer owners install aftermarket units to start their vehicles--- they live in very cold climates and use it to warm up vehicle.

Go over to www.trailvoy.com and ask there. lots of Envoy and Trailblazer owners there who can help

Give me you VIN number, (post it or PM it) and I'll check the RPO codes of your vehicle and let you know......I can't think of which code you need to have right now but it'll come to me.

And try to stay loyal to chevroletforums.com
we have all your answers here....no need to go to some other place

You have option code AUO, which is just keyless entry....not upgradeable to remote start
The aftermarket remote start install is exactly the same in the 09's as in the 02's. The only difference being is that they have added Pass-key along side of the passlock...so a different by-pass module is needed
