fan speed
Just bought my wife a 06 LT trailblazer with a 4.2 L got it home and the fan speed selector has 1 to 5 and now 1 to 4 works and when you switch to 5 the fan stops running , does anybody have any idea.

At the highest setting, the motor is run indirectly, i.e., the control **** powers/energizes a relay (part of the blower motor resistor assembly). The actual power to the blower motor comes through the 40A BLOWER fuse in the underhood fuse block.
